We’re Laura (photographer) and Jade (hair & makeup artist)—partners in creativity, chaos, and cake breaks. Together, we co-founded Empowered with one goal: to create wedding experiences that actually feel like you.

We specialise in bold, alternative photography and inclusive styling that celebrates every kind of love story. Whether you’re getting married in a castle in boots and a corset, planning a neon-lit city hall elopement, or saying your vows barefoot in a forest—we’re here for it.
We're proud to work with LGBTQIA+ couples, tattooed goths, soft romantics, and anyone who's ever felt left out of the traditional wedding space. Your love deserves to be seen, celebrated, and photographed exactly as it is—without compromise, without assumptions, and without cheesy poses.
